Ode to Natasha Wicks:
We were front and center at the inaugural UFC Fan Expo for the Maxim / UFC Octagon Girl search. It only took the first round for us to notice Ms. Natasha Wicks from the crowd of 40 women. Wicks stood out from the other models and potential mma ring girls with her jaw-dropping figure which resembles that of a fitness model (her figure was put on display during the swim suit round) and her enchanting, girl next door personality. When Natasha was chosen for the top ten, we knew the competition was hers to lose. After Wicks was crowned the Maxim / UFC Octagon Girl winner, she was put on the fast track by appearing at her first gig only a month later during UFC 101. Although Natasha Wicks only spent roughly six months with the UFC, I think it is clear that she was quickly becoming a fan favorite about the legions of UFC fans across the globe.

The Las Vegas native has come along way since her days growing up and running cross country at the University of Northern Arizona. During 2009, Natasha Wicks became a BSN Girl and was named a RawVegas.TV Girl of the Month, as well as featured in the following magazines; UFC Magazine, Ultimate MMA Magazine, Fight! Magazine and most recently Maxim (October 2009).
The future is only getting brighter for Natasha Wicks, the now former UFC ring girl. Wicks was let go from her one year contract as a ring girl with the organization along with fellow ring girl Logan “Lo” Stanton due to alleged comments made after UFC 106 – however these allegations have not been confirmed or denied. Whether Natasha continues to dazzle audiences in Las Vegas as a go-go dancer or moves onto new modeling heights, everyone at FightLaunch.com wishes her the best, as she was fun to watch during her days as a UFC ring girl.
