Instead of putting together our WEC 47: Bowles vs. Cruz predictions we figured we would turn to Twitter to compile picks for the WEC 47 main card. Overwhelmingly we found that the world of Twitter believed Brian Bowles would retain his WEC bantamweight championship. Miguel Torres was also predicted to score a victory, leaving a potential re-match between Bowles and Torres. MMA Twitterers also felt that Javier Vazquez will defeat Jens Pulver, however opinions were mixed regarding the first two fights of the night at WEC 47. It is about 50-50 when it comes to Karen Darabedyan and Bart Palaszewski, so we will settle this one and pick Darabedyan via decision. L.C. Davis and Deividas Taurosevicius is an interesting match-up. Twitters were split, but we feel that the power of L.C. Davis will prove to be victorious in this fight.

WEC Bantamweight Championship: Brian Bowles vs. Dominick Cruz

@fightdc – I think Bowles will win… but I’m looking forward to it. Should be fast and furious action with him and Cruz.
